Welcome. The Uganda Poetry Society welcomes you, indeed. This is an exciting new chapter for all of us.
The Uganda Poetry Society is a coming together of literati in Uganda and beyond. Although the name “Uganda Poetry Society’ implies that our area of operation is Uganda, we use Uganda as a metaphor for the wider human community.
After all, poetry is not limited to any locale or clime. That is why our Society will span several nations and support diverse peoples in service of the genre of poetry.
